Food safety

I am no specialist on the subject of food safety. (But I am a mom with a healthy toddler!) I would advice you to do some research on the internet on this subject. And of course to use your common sense. Baby's are more vulnerable than grownups, so be careful.

Some general tips:
  • Wash your hands often, 
  • Make sure all containers, knives, machines etc are very clean (detergent and hot water!), 
  • Don't leave food out of the refrigerator for long, 
  • When frozen in a small container home-made baby food can be kept for up to three months, but check if your freezer is cold enough to do so. 
  • When in doubt, throw food away.
